We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Change Manager to join our dynamic team. The ServiceNow Change Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing all changes to our IT environment, ensuring that they are executed efficiently and with minimal disruption to our operations. This role will be key in the organization's transformation from traditional change management processes to a modern DevOps (CI/CD) culture resulting in an AI enhanced change and risk process. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining our IT operations, fostering collaboration, automation and enhancing the overall efficiency of our software delivery pipelines. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and technical skills to drive the successful execution of changes while adhering to ITIL best practices.

 

As a Sr. ServiceNow CMDB administrator and IT Service Management (ITSM) Change Manager working at HealthEquity you will have a direct influence on members and clients by managing, tracking, reporting, and enforcing ITSM policies. The quality of the process is dependent on the data that supports it and you will work directly in the data making sure our CMDB is accurate. Your partners include our CMDB developer and your service peers for incident, problem, and asset management. Your leadership will depend on you for roadmaps, data integrity, and continual improvement. It is a role that combines technical skills, people skills, and a capacity to learn and lead. 

 

You will lead change advisory board (CAB) meetings, review standard changes, work with our senior business leaders during change freezes, recommend and implement ServiceNow enhancements and make a positive material impact on HealthEquity. That is today's work, HealthEquity is in a transformational stage, we are deploying DevOps CI/CD and automated risk analysis, leading to AI processes for Change Management. You will build the processes with our development teams. At HealthEquity you will change the future.

 

The role requires excellent communication skills from the technical level to business appropriate communication. Technical groups include, development, quality assurance, networking, desktop engineering and systems. Other groups that are critical to the role are project managers, business analysts, and business teammates, especially operations. Since you are responsible for effective partnerships across a such a disparate group soft skills are critical. Excellent verbal and written communication is a must as is the ability to lead

 

What you’ll be doing

 

Change Management Planning:Develop and maintain a comprehensive change management strategy and policies.Create and update change management documentation, including procedures, templates, and workflows.

Change Request Evaluation:Review and assess all change requests for completeness and adherence to established guidelines.Evaluate the potential impact and risk associated with each proposed change.

Change Authorization:Facilitate the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to review and approve or reject change requests.Ensure that authorized changes are scheduled and coordinated effectively.

Change Implementation:Collaborate with various teams to plan and execute changes, ensuring minimal disruption to services.Monitor and communicate the progress of changes to stakeholders.

Risk Mitigation:Identify and address potential risks associated with changes and implement mitigation strategies.Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements during change execution.

Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of all change activities in the ServiceNow platform.Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Continuous Improvement:Continuously assess and enhance the change management process to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.Provide feedback and recommendations for improving IT infrastructure and processes.

Stakeholder Communication:Communicate changes, outages, and incidents to stakeholders, both internal and external, as required.Foster positive relationships with business units and IT teams to ensure smooth change execution.

DevOps TransformationLead and drive the transformation from traditional change management processes to a DevOps mindset within the organization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for CI/CD adoption.Champion best practices for automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery

 

What you will need to be successful  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • 4-5 years' experience managing data within ServiceNow, specifically CI's.
  • 4-5 years' experience managing a core ITSM Service such as Change, Problem, or Incident.
  • ServiceNow certification is highly desirable.
  • Several years of experience in CMDB administration within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and ITSM modules.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and architecture.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and principles.
  • Experience utilizing Performance Analytics.

Salary Range

$78500.00 To $121500.00 / year

The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
