Schedule/Shift:
- Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Facility hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM; No weekends, no holidays)
Requirements:
- Active Pharmacist license in the state of KY
- Open to New Graduates, as well as candidates with Retail or Hospital pharmacy backgrounds.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team on-site at our high-volume, closed-door mail-order pharmacy in Brooks, KY. As our operation expands and prepares for a major computer system transition, this role is critical to maintaining accurate final verification on fulfillment lines. You will work alongside Pharmacy Technicians and other Pharmacists to ensure accurate prescription delivery to patients across the region without direct patient-facing interaction.
- Prescription Verification: Perform final accuracy checks on filled prescriptions (ambient and cold chain products) prepared by Pharmacy Technicians.
- Fulfillment Operations: Manage repetitive verification tasks while standing for extended periods on the fulfillment floor.
- Communication & Support: Occasionally handle inbound phone inquiries regarding orders or clinical details.
- Flexibility & Growth: Adapt to workload shifts during team computer software transitions and volume spikes; remain open to expanding duties.
Required Skills
- Active Kentucky State Pharmacist License in good standing.
- Must reside within 30 miles of the Brooks, KY facility.
- Ability to stand for long durations and perform physical, repetitive tasks in a warehouse fulfillment setting.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in high-volume, repetitive fulfillment environments.
