PRN Position Details:
- Provide comprehensive speech therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive-communication skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic patient care
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed clinical records
- Educate patients and their families about therapy goals and strategies to support ongoing progress
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Proven experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
- Flexibility to work on a PRN basis, with reliable availability
Requirements
Applicants must have an active Indiana Speech Language Pathologist license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license, including completion of a nationally accredited program and subsequent passing of national licensure exam. Applicants must hold Certificate of Clinical Competence or be supervised as a Clinical Fellow prior to attaining CCCs.
