HTS is hiring an Occupational Therapists to join our therapy team at two highly rated skilled nursing facilities in Louisville, KY. The primary role of the Occupational Therapist in this position will be to complete evaluations and progress notes, along with recertifications and discharges, on a full-time basis (30 – 40 hours per week).
Position Details:
· Flexible schedule, with three days per week at the primary facility and two days at the secondary.
· Competitive hourly rate.
· Compensated drive time and mileage for travel between the two facilities.
The primary facility is an esteemed community with a lot to offer: a great location in the historic Old Louisville neighborhood downtown Louisville, a beautiful newly updated therapy department, and a clinical variety of clients from rehab to home, long-term residents, and outpatient (from the assisted living population). Highly supportive facility staff have fostered a collaborative environment and rely heavily on the therapy team.
The secondary facility is a 68-bed senior living community located on a 35-acre campus in southern Jefferson County. With an excellent therapy gym and separate kitchen area. this great facility offers a full continuum of care, from independent and assisted living to memory care and skilled nursing care.

Requirements
Applicants must have an active Kentucky Occupational Therapist license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Kentucky license. These qualifications include a degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program, subsequent passing of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®) examination and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.
