Daily Responsibilities For The Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA
- Provides hands-on physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, function, and independence while progressing toward rehabilitation goals
- Collaborates with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary care teams to implement individualized treatment plans, support recovery, and promote safe transitions across care settings
- Advocates for patients to ensure access to appropriate care, services, and resources
Required Qualifications For The Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant License in New Mexico
- Proficiency in EPIC electronic charting system
- Medical, Dental, & Vision insurance (multiple options available)
