Daily Responsibilities For Mammography Technologist
- Performs mammography procedures in accordance with standards of practice and organizational policies.
- Reviews patient history, schedules appointments, and educates patients on procedures and equipment.
- Prepares and administers contrast media and medications as ordered.
- Monitors patient condition, reports changes and assists with interventional procedures.
- Prepares equipment, ensures safety standards, troubleshoots equipment issues, and maintains compliance with regulations.
- Full Time, Days (32 hours per week)
- Full Time, Days (40 hours per week)
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or registry eligible with completing of registry within 12 months by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
