About The Role
A growing healthcare technology organization is seeking an Account Manager - Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) to support a portfolio of pharmacy benefit clients. This role serves as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, ensuring benefit plans are configured accurately, implementations are successful, and ongoing account management needs are met. The ideal candidate thrives in a client-facing environment and has a strong understanding of PBM operations, benefit administration, and claims management.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned PBM clients
- Coordinate client implementations, go-live activities, and ongoing account support
- Manage benefit changes, eligibility updates, plan configuration requests, and overrides
- Review and troubleshoot claims processing issues and client escalations
- Partner with Operations, Clinical, IT, Product, Finance, and Analytics teams to ensure successful client outcomes
- Support renewals, open enrollment periods, and plan design changes
- Conduct testing and quality assurance to validate system configuration and claims adjudication
- Track deliverables and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and issue resolution
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3 years of Account Management experience within a PBM environment
- Experience building and maintaining strong internal and external client relationships
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

- Client-focused professional with excellent relationship management skills
