Risk Adjustment Coding Supervisor – Hybrid

HealthCare Support is seeking a Risk Adjustment Coding Specialist to join a mission-driven team in the Monterey Park, CA area. This full-time, salaried role offers autonomy in the field and remotely.

Location: 
  • Monterey Park, CA

Schedule:
  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation:
  • $80K - $95k per year (based on experience)
  • Mileage reimbursement

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily operations of risk adjustment coding and review teams, ensuring workflows, productivity, and quality standards are met.
  • Coach and mentor risk adjustment specialists and auditors to improve coding accuracy, documentation capture, and compliance with requirements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, Business, Public Health or related field required.
  • Professional coding certification (e.g., CPC, CCS, CCS-P, CRC, RHIT, RHIA)
  • Prior experience in risk adjustment coding and documentation review
  • Experience supervising staff or leading teams in a healthcare operations environment
