Daily Responsibilities for Pharmacy Technician:
- Performs data entry, record keeping and adjudicate claims
- Packaging and other tasks related to the fulfillment and dispensing of prescriptions
- Provides telephonic customer support (inbound and outbound calls)
- Contacts physicians for refill authorizations
- Collects pertinent patient information
- Assists Pharmacist in the maintenance of procedures and records in compliance with state and federal laws
Required Qualifications for Pharmacy Technician:
- Ability to work onsite Overland Park, KS 66207
- Ability to work M-F 8AM-4:30PM
- High School Diploma or GED
- Registered as a pharmacy technician with the Kansas State Board of Pharmacy
- 2-4 years of recent experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or Specialty pharmacy
