Daily Responsibilities for the Medicaid Eligibility Specialist:
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 1-hour lunch

Daily Responsibilities for the Medicaid Eligibility Specialist:
- Visit patients in the hospital & bedside to pre-screen for qualifying criteria of various Federal & State Medicaid/Social Security Administration (SSA) & County / HCRA programs
- Maintain ongoing communication with various agencies throughout the application process
- Assess cases appropriately & utilize the most appropriate community resources to provide efficient client services
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 1-hour lunch
Required Qualifications for Medicaid Eligibility Specialist:
- HS Diploma or GED
- 1 years of experience with Medicaid Prequalification
- Able to engage with patients, nurses, and providers
Preferred Qualifications for Medicaid Eligibility Specialist:
- Medicaid application experience
- Intake and interview experience
- FL Medicaid knowledge
