Account Manager – Pharmacy Benefit Administration

HealthCare Support is actively seeking an Account Manager – Pharmacy Benefit Administration to fill an opening in New York, NY.  We are seeking an Account Manager – Pharmacy Benefit Administration to serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring pharmacy benefit plans are implemented accurately and supported throughout the client lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone with PBM or health plan experience who enjoys collaborating across teams, solving complex issues, and delivering exceptional client service.

Pay Details:

• Salary: $100,400 - $125,500 annually
• Annual Performance Bonus

Shift:

• Monday-Friday
  • 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Hybrid - 3 Days In Office

Daily Responsibilities for Account Manager – Pharmacy Benefit Administration:

• Act as the primary liaison for clients, coordinating pharmacy benefit implementations, plan updates, and ongoing administration while ensuring accuracy across benefit configuration, eligibility, pricing, and claims processing.
• Partner with internal teams to test plan changes, resolve claims and benefit issues, and support successful client implementations and ongoing operations.
• Build strong client relationships through proactive communication, timely issue resolution, and exceptional service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Required Qualifications for Account Manager – Pharmacy Benefit Administration:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3 years of experience in one or more of the following:
  • Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM)
  • Health Plan Administration
  • Benefits Consulting
  • Healthcare Operations
• Experience managing client relationships.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver results.
