What are the responsibilities and job description for the Area Administrator position at Healthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc.?
Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Area Administrator to support the Trauma Prevention Initiative Expansion Project. The purpose of this project is to hire qualified positions for the Trauma Prevention Initiative (TPI) Expansion Project to support the expansion of TPI services in Antelope Valley. The goal of the TPI initiative is to reduce trauma visits and deaths due to assault, reduce serious and violent crimes throughout LA County, with an initial focus on reducing the high rates of violence in Antelope Valley. The Area Administrator will report to the Violence Prevention Program Manager, and will be responsible for coordinating planning and implementation of TPI strategies in new communities, stakeholder engagement, and providing programmatic oversight for contracted intervention services
The positions will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and are initially funded through 6/30/26, with the good chance of extension.
Pay Rate: $53.58/hr working 40 hours a week
Location: Hybrid - Alhambra Office and Telework.

Requirements:
- A Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in a discipline related to the core business function of the department -AND- Two years of highly responsible and complex administrative or staff experience. A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a discipline related to the core business function of the department may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
- A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
- Able to access and operate Microsoft (MS) Windows-based laptop or desktop device with a speaker and microphone and reliable Wi-Fi/internet access.
- Excellent oral, written, and listening communication skills;
- Computer literate and skilled in the use of MS Windows-based programs, including MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including conflict resolution and team management, interpersonal communication, planning, and organizational skills;
- Experience managing multiple project demands and deadlines;
- Ability to work in a professional manner, with courtesy and tact, and work collaboratively with a wide range of disciplines, community members and county departments;
- Lived experience: Individuals with histories of incarceration working in program implementation roles can make a unique contribution to the responsiveness and effectiveness of service delivery for these populations.
- Local references that demonstrate candidate has lived experience, or experience living or working in the new TPI communities and has positive working relationships with diverse community stakeholders to promote peace and collaboration.
- Willing to work occasional evenings and weekends and travel throughout the County.
