Child Psychiatrist

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Child Psychiatrist to work in a State Supported Living Center located in Denton, TX.The Child Psychiatrist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating psychiatric disorders, and performing psychiatric assessments, providing timely, and accurate charting of clinical encounters using our electronic medical records of the residents with intellectual disabilities.

Pay Rate: $180/hr

Location: Denton, TX

SCHEDULE: Four (4) hours per week with flexibility but some availability needed sometime during 8-5 M-F. Can do some telework as well.

Job Duties

• The Child Psychiatrist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating psychiatric disorders, and performing psychiatric assessments, providing timely, and accurate charting of clinical encounters using our electronic medical records of the residents with intellectual disabilities.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must have good communication skills, organized, and able to present information.
• Justification of medication use.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
  
  

Requirements

• Must be licensed (unrestricted) as a medical doctor by the State of Texas and be Board Certified or Board eligible in Psychiatry in the State of Texas.
• Must have current unrestricted registration certificate from the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).
• Must possess a National Provider Identifier (NPI#).
• Must complete facility and HHSC required training
• Psychiatrist must be proficient in computers/electronics health records.
