In this role, you will collaborate with our talented cooks to prepare a variety of nutritious meals for our residents, staff, and visitors. Cook Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean kitchen and efficiently wash and sort dishes.
- Prepare food as needed while keeping the dish area organized and clutter-free.
- Ensure clean and dry floors throughout your shift.
- Change water in machines and sinks every two hours or as needed, following EcoLab's chemical dilution guidelines.
- Assist with timely food storage after deliveries.
- Manage trash disposal during the shift and remove full cans and boxes at the end of the day.
- Organize the dry storage area and maintain orderly shelves.
- Assist in food preparation and other tasks as directed by the chef.Qualifications / Skills:
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent planning and multitasking abilities
- Self-motivated with high energy
- Good verbal communication skillsEducation, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Preferred experience in a hospitality-related kitchen
