Responsibilities
- Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Set up and break down dining areas before and after meals.
- Ensure a clean and safe dining environment by following sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude while interacting with residents, guests, and staff.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and dining staff to ensure smooth meal service.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, such as plating and assembling meals.
- Follow all safety and food handling regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a dining or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with residents, staff, and management.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 25 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude with the ability to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
- Residency within the service area is required.
