Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities
- Assess the nutritional needs of residents and develop personalized meal plans that take into account their health requirements and dietary preferences.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines governing nutrition care in long-term care facilities.
- Maintain accurate records of residents' nutritional status and progress, and provide timely documentation as required.
- Provide education and counseling on healthy eating habits and nutrition-related topics to residents, families, and staff.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote a holistic approach to patient care and enhance residents' quality of life.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to maintain a positive attitude and effectively interact with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
