Pay Rate

Responsibilities
- Learn and perform job assignments of day porter, custodian, and floor technician while teaching others to operate various industrial cleaning and laundry equipment.
- Lead small groups of staff in cleaning and laundry tasks across varying shifts.
- Acquire knowledge of policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements to eventually manage custodial and floor care staff at a single site.
- Develop skills in payroll submission, staffing patterns, coaching, discipline, purchasing, and budgeting.
- Assist in staff training, quality control, and in-servicing.
- Utilize protective gear appropriately and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience in environmental services within a healthcare or school setting with supervisory experience desired.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, and/or customers.
- Ability to lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds and work around cleaning products.
- Must be able to work around cleaning products.
- Must provide a criminal background check.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
