Seeking a BC / BE Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join an established advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support program located in Greenville, North Carolina. Applicants should be advanced heart failure fellowship trained and ABIM certified in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology.
The Clinical sections represented in The Department of Cardiovascular Sciences include Structural Heart Disease, Electrophysiology and Arrhythmias, Heart Failure, Primary and Secondary Prevention and Vascular Diseases.
A six-story, 375,000-square-foot tower houses 4 electrophysiology labs, 6 catheterization labs, state of the art imaging and diagnostic equipment, 6 cardiovascular operating rooms, and 1 hybrid operating room. It features 120 beds for patients undergoing procedures for cardiac medicine, cardiac surgery, and vascular surgery.

Established advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support team inclusive of advanced heart failure cardiologists, a heart failure surgeon, heart failure pharmacist, heart failure social worker, six heart failure advanced practice providers, and heart failure certified nurses
Growing heart failure program that includes a destination LVAD center, cardiogenic shock program with dedicated ECMO team and CICU critical care service, established CardioMEMS center, pulmonary hypertension program with dedicated pulmonary hypertension clinic and inpatient management, and active heart failure clinical trials and registries
Invasive procedures will include heart catheterization and CardioMEMS
