Healthcare Resource Network is seeking PRN Occupational Health Registered Nurses (RN) to work in support of the Social Security Administration Occupational Health Clinic located in Wilkes-Barre PA..

JOB SUMMARY:

The Occupational Health Nurse is responsible for the oversight and monitoring of the Social Security Administration’s (SSA) Occupational Health Program. Provides emergency and non-emergency care, immunizations and walk in care to a healthy population and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements. Provides education, coordination, and consultation on Occupational Health issues. Works to ensure the health and safety of SSA employees

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing preferred; Associates degree or diploma in nursing will be considered
• At least 3 years clinical nursing experience and 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse with recent clinical experience in occupational health nursing, school, public health, or ambulatory care nursing

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

• Registered nurse licensure in state
• Valid CPR certification in BLS is required upon hire. Must be obtained and maintained as per AHA guidelines.

Schedule: PRN or on an as needed basis to backfill for FT staff during clinic hours Monday through Friday 7:30 am-4:00 pm
