About the Opportunity
Healthcare Recruiters International is partnering with a growing outpatient neuropsychology-focused behavioral health practice in the Toms River area seeking a Neuropsychologist, Psychologist, or Psychiatrist to join a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical team.
This practice specializes in working with individuals across the lifespan presenting with ADHD, executive functioning deficits, brain injuries, learning differences, and other neurocognitive and psychological conditions. Providers often integrate clinical care with neuropsychological evaluation data to support more targeted, functional treatment planning.
This role offers a unique blend of assessment, therapy (when applicable), and consultative services, with opportunities to work across both outpatient and rehabilitation settings.
Licensure Requirement
Active New Jersey Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) or Psychiatrist (MD/DO) license required

Your Role & Impact
- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological and/or psychiatric evaluations
- Interpret findings and provide clear diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations
- Deliver psychotherapy services when applicable
- Support patients in achieving meaningful functional outcomes related to cognition, behavior, and daily functioning
- Integrate evaluation data into ongoing treatment planning
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across outpatient and rehabilitation settings

Neuropsychologists typically rotate between 3–4 locations
Schedules are organized in advance to support efficiency and minimize unnecessary travel
Responsibilities
- Conduct cognitive, psychological, and/or psychiatric evaluations
- Complete detailed clinical reports and documentation
- Provide therapy services when appropriate
- Collaborate with medical and behavioral health professionals
- Participate in ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology or MD/DO in Psychiatry
- Active New Jersey license required
- 1–3 years of clinical experience preferred
- Experience with ADHD, neurodevelopmental disorders, brain injury, and cognitive assessments strongly preferred
- Strong diagnostic, communication, and documentation skills
