Clinical Director (BCBA)

We’re Hiring: Clinical Director (BCBA) | Waco, Texas

Salary: $90,000–$95,000 annually quarterly bonus potential

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Work arrangement: Clinic-based with one remote day per week

Caseload: Approximately 2–3 clients

Billable expectation: Approximately 12 hours per week

Healthcare Recruiters International is recruiting an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to serve as Clinical Director for a growing ABA clinic in Waco, Texas.

What You’ll Do

- Lead the clinic’s clinical operations and treatment-delivery standards

- Supervise, mentor, and support BCBAs and other clinical team members

- Review and approve treatment plans, behavior intervention plans, and clinical recommendations

- Ensure services align with evidence-based practices and BACB ethical standards

- Monitor treatment quality, clinical documentation, and protocol fidelity

- Conduct clinical observations and quality-assurance reviews

- Coach and develop clinical staff

- Oversee BCBA training and professional-development initiatives

- Support the recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and retention of clinical team members

- Participate in client intake, assessment, and treatment planning

- Collaborate with families, caregivers, clinicians, and interdisciplinary partners

- Maintain a limited direct clinical caseload

- Support the clinic’s clinical and operational performance goals

- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and client-centered culture

- Maintain compliance with organizational policies, payer requirements, and applicable regulations

What You’ll Bring

- Master’s degree in behavior analysis or a related field

- Current BCBA certification in good standing

- Current Texas Licensed Behavior Analyst credential—or the ability to obtain it

- Five or more years of experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities

- At least one year of professional experience as a BCBA

- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills

- Effective leadership, communication, and organizational abilities

- A commitment to ethical, evidence-based, family-centered ABA services

Preferred Experience

- Supervising BCBAs or multidisciplinary clinical teams

- Reviewing treatment plans and clinical documentation

- Leading quality-assurance or clinical performance-improvement efforts

- Recruiting, training, and developing clinical staff

- Supporting clinic performance goals and key performance indicators
