Director of Community OutreachDepartment: Community OutreachReports To: Regional Director / AdministrationPosition SummaryThe Director of Community Outreach is a key ambassador for our company, responsible for identifying prospective residents, conducting screenings, and guiding families through the admissions process. This role includes conducting community tours, actively marketing our assisted living community, and fostering relationships with referral sources. The Director of Community Outreach helps drive occupancy by engaging prospective residents, building strong community partnerships, and supporting conversions from inquiry to move-in.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong interpersonal skills, a passion for helping seniors, and an interest in admissions or sales in the assisted living field. Sales or outreach experience in healthcare is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, senior organizations, community centers, and discharge planners.Conduct outreach calls, community visits, and promotional activities to increase awareness of our Assisted Living Community.Coordinate and conduct tours, interviews, and screenings for prospective residents.Lead and manage the admissions process, ensuring all required medical, mental health, and financial documentation is collected and compliant with NYSDOH guidelines.Ensure transportation, communication, and documentation needs are addressed prior to admission.Serve as a liaison between families, referral sources, and community teams to ensure concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.Collaborate closely with corporate and community teams to meet occupancy goals and outreach targets.Provide daily updates to team and regional director.Maintain a strong working knowledge of NYSDOH and CMS regulations related to admissions.Maintain the CRM for all leadsUphold HIPAA standards and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.QualificationsEducation:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredMust be able to read, write, and speak English fluentlyExperience:Previous healthcare sales, outreach, or admissions experience preferredWilling to train motivated candidates with strong communication and customer-service skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to move throughout the workday, including sitting, standing, bending, pushing, pulling, and assisting with movement of objects or residents as needed.
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
