Nurse Practitioners & Physician Assistants
PRN Position
HealthCARE Express is hiring Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) for positions in a fast-paced, urgent care setting. If you're passionate about providing excellent care, enjoy a challenge, and love to have fun while working, this could be your home away from home!
We are accepting applications for a PRN role. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in urgent care, family practice, or emergency room settings. Applicants must also be available to work weekday shifts.
Key Responsibilities
As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at HealthCARE Express, you will provide medical care to patients of all ages, performing tasks such as conducting patient histories, exams, lab testing, simple procedures, and prescribing medications according to current standards of care. It is essential to maintain accurate and timely medical records while always conducting yourself in a professional manner. You will follow established infection control procedures and safety protocols, particularly when handling sharps and body fluids. Additionally, you will adhere to clinic protocols to create a customer-friendly environment that reflects best practices in medicine.
In the absence of specific protocols, you will assume leadership responsibilities, supervising and guiding medical staff with a focus on teaching and mentorship. Flexibility is key, as you may need to cross-train for various tasks. Occasionally, you will take on duties outside the normal scope of practice to meet the needs of the clinic. You are expected to observe, identify, and take action on what is needed to move the organization forward, always representing its mission, values, and vision. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to help drive our goals and uphold our standards of care.

Founded in 2006, HealthCARE Express operates 16 urgent care facilities, specialty clinics, and a medical billing department, employing over 400 team members across Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. We treat approximately 230,000 patients annually, and we give back to our communities through monthly service projects. Shifts & Salary
- Rotating 12-hour shifts - Must be able to work weekdays
- Salary: $65 per hour & up (depending on experience)
