Healthcare Coding and Consulting Services (HCCS) is currently hiring for an experienced and certified Full-time Observation (OBS) Coders for immediate an opening.

As an OBS coder with HCCS, you’ll be responsible for accurately coding outpatient observation encounters, mastering client systems, and consistently meeting productivity and quality standards. We assign coders to chart types and facilities that align with their experience, ensuring you're supported and set up for success.
Position Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of OBS facility production coding experience
At least 6 months of recent OBS facility coding experience
Must be profiecent in Injections & Infusions
Experience in coding surical procedures
Active AHIMA or AAPC certification (CPC-A and CCA not accepted or considered)
CCS certification is preferred
Ability to maintain minimum standards of productivity and accuracy
