Role Description The Massage Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Minneapolis, MN, providing therapeutic massage services to support clients’ overall wellness and complement chiropractic care. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing individualized massage sessions, assessing client needs and areas of tension, and recommending appropriate techniques and treatment plans. The Massage Therapist will collaborate with chiropractors and other team members, maintain accurate client records, and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment. Additional duties include educating clients on self-care and stress management, managing appointment schedules, and delivering a professional, client-centered experience in every session.
Qualifications
- Hands-on therapeutic skills, including Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage, with the ability to tailor techniques to individual client needs.
- Experience or training in specialized modalities and related bodywork techniques.
- Skills in Stress Management, with the ability to help clients relax and support overall mental and physical well-being.
- Strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication, empathy, and a professional, client-focused approach.
- Completion of an accredited massage therapy program and current state licensure or certification in massage therapy (or eligibility to obtain).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting and follow clinic protocols and documentation standards.
- Physical stamina, strong ethical standards, and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and safety.
- Prior experience in a chiropractic, wellness, or clinical environment is beneficial.
