Travel ICU RN

Role: Provide comprehensive critical care in the ICU setting, including patient assessment, monitoring, administering advanced treatments, operating life-support equipment, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess and respond to changes in critically ill patients
• Administer complex medications and treatments
• Operate advanced life support devices and interpret hemodynamic monitoring
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and emotional support
• Document assessments and interventions accurately
• Educate patients and families about care and recovery
• Maintain infection control protocols and participate in quality improvement
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• At least one year of ICU experience
• Valid RN license and current BLS/ACLS certifications
• Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and patients
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and technology
• Ability to work under pressure and handle irregular schedules
