Role: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment, utilizing technology, evidence-based practices, and coordinating with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities: Assess and address patients' physical and psychological needs, develop individualized care plans, communicate compassionately, oversee care delivery by LPNs/CNAs, participate in clinical team discussions, and ensure compliance with guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications: Must have graduated from an accredited Nursing program and hold an active RN license in the practice state. BLS certification is required upon hire or within 60 days. An ASN/ADN degree is acceptable with a four-year BSN completion requirement or proof of extensive RN experience. Experience in acute care settings is preferred.
Skills: Effective oral and written communication, computer proficiency, ability to read monitors/documents, and physical capability to perform lifting, bending, and prolonged standing or sitting.
