Position Overview: Health Union is seeking a strategic, detail-oriented, and growth-minded CTV & Programmatic Account Director. This role is designed for a strategic professional who excels at nurturing existing client relationships and driving organic growth through exceptional service and media planning expertise.  You will serve as a key partner to our largest enterprise accounts, providing high-level strategic support to scale our most significant partnerships and drive transformative revenue growth.

The ideal candidate possesses deep functional knowledge of the pharmaceutical TV and programmatic landscape, combined with a passion for helping clients achieve complex KPIs through data-driven digital and video solutions.

What You Do:

Account Growth & Strategic Support: 

  • Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for a defined set of accounts, focusing on cultivating deep relationships and ensuring long-term retention.
  • Growth & Upsell Identification: Analyze campaign performance to identify opportunities for expansion and upsell, helping clients evolve their TV and programmatic strategies.
  • Enterprise Partnership Assistance: Provide high-value strategic support for the VP of Platform Partnerships on large enterprise deals, including meeting preparation, partnership evaluation and proposal customization.
  • Client Communication: Participate in and lead client calls to synthesize campaign insights, driving renewal confidence through data-backed storytelling.
  • You will cultivate deep relationships with agency investment leads, focusing on expanding traditional digital display budgets into high-impact CTV and Video campaigns. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product and Data Operations to ensure our audience segments are optimized for activation across premium video platforms. You will provide "voice of the industry" insights to help guide the evolution of our video-centric product roadmap.
  • Audience Evangelism: Serve as an audience activation expert, ensuring Health Union is positioned as an indispensable partner.
Qualifications:

What You Bring:

  • 3–5 years of experience in programmatic advertising, media planning, or investment, with a specific focus on Video/CTV.
  • Deep Functional Knowledge: Expert understanding of the ad-tech ecosystem, including DSP operations, SSP dynamics, and the technical mechanisms of CTV identity and attribution.
  • Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to analyze market trends and develop creative bundling or solutioning strategies to secure enterprise-level partnerships.
  • Pharma/Health Vertical Experience: A foundational understanding of the pharmaceutical marketing landscape and the nuances of activating and measuring HIPAA-compliant data is highly preferred.
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical programmatic details into clear, actionable business outcomes for executive decision-makers.

Annual base salary for positions at this level and job group is  $111,000-$120,000, and your base pay will depend on the qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies required for this job.

 

At Health Union, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range that provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
