What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Record Specialist position at Health Star Clinic?
Health Star is a multi-doctor practice is looking to add a professional to our medical records team. A minimum of 1 year medical front desk and/or medical records experience is preferred. References are required.

Copying and sending medical records and pre cert/prior authorization forms

Hours:
Full time = Mon-Thur 8:20-1, 2:50-6 rotate Saturdays 9-11am.
Monday-Friday 8:00a-1:00p, rotate Saturdays 9-11am
Miscellaneous:
Our state of the art facility is in Montgomery and consist of approximately 15 dedicated staff members who work for the benefit of our patients. We focus on positive attitudes, team work, and going the extra mile to treat patients like family. We work closely and try to have fun as we help lots of patients. For this reason our staff has adopted a NO EMPLOYEE DRAMA ALLOWED policy.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Internship
Expected hours: 25 – 37 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
