We’re hiring a full-time Operations Compliance Specialist to join our Compliance Department at our 41 Montebello Office or at our Grand Junction Facility.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will support organizational compliance by maintaining confidentiality, staying current on all applicable healthcare regulations, and coordinating investigations of potential noncompliance. You will assist with licensing requirements, develop and deliver compliance training, evaluate organizational policies, and provide strategic guidance to leaders across areas such as facilities, safety, technology, revenue cycle, and administration. You will also participate in audits and inspections, maintain accurate and complete compliance records, and perform additional duties as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES: As an Operations Compliance Specialist under the supervision of the Director and Supervisor you will:
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive and protected information.
- Maintain knowledge of state and federal laws, rules, and regulations related to healthcare compliance.
- Coordinate investigation of all possible noncompliance.
- Assist with applications for required licenses and management of compliance with required licensing entities.
- Assist in developing a comprehensive training plan and program related to compliance with all Health Solutions staff.
- Provide strategic support to operations directors and supervisors regarding Health Solutions policies, procedures, and practices as they relate to compliance.
- Areas of focus include facilities, safety, revenue cycle, technology, and general administration.
- Evaluate and monitor all Health Solutions policies and procedures in the context of all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Assist with all Compliance audits, inspections, and walk throughs.
- Keep accurate, complete, and up-to-date records with 100% compliance with set standards.
- Adhere to the spirit of the mission statement while performing assigned duties.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination
- Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time
- Occasionally lifts and carries items up to 50 pounds
- Normal visual acuity and hearing
- Exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids
- Working under stress in emergency situations or irregular hours

What we’re looking For—The Must-Haves
- A bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of healthcare operations
- Knowledge of compliance
- A valid Colorado driver’s license and access to reliable transportation during work hours
What we’d Like to See in you—the Nice-to-Haves
- At least one year of experience in a compliance or a healthcare operations-related field
- Spanish language skills
