Location: Grand Junction- Building B & F

Position qualifications: High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred. Three (3) o four (4) years of related work experience required. Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and cash-handling procedures preferred. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
Job purpose: The Cook II will accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods, to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.

- Working knowledge of Windows based computer applications to include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet access.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment including calculator, copy machine, fax and multi-line telephone.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands: Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Employee is frequently required to walk, sit, stand or kneel and occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop. Must have ability to sit for longer periods of time at a computer. Possible potential for exposure to communicable disease. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
