What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant - Medical Weight Loss Clinic position at Health Smart Weight Loss & Gynecology?
- Looking for enthusiastic, medical assistant to join busy practice. We are primarily a medical weight loss clinic but also practice basic gynecology.
Duties:
Welcome patients, obtains vital signs, maintains accurate and prompt charting in the patient's medical records. Performs clinical skills such as injections. Triage calls, provide tests and lab results to patients and provide relevant information to the doctor. Assists physician by preparing patients for exams and procedures.
We are a close-knit, busy practice looking for an Medical Assistant to work full-time. The duties will primarily be back office clinical but the Medical Assistant will be crossed trained to help out in the front office when needed. Gynecology experience is a plus but not required. Friendly approach to patient care is extremely important.
Degree:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with taking vital signs and medical records
Experience:
- Being able to give injections would be great but not required
