What You’ll Do
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and engagement through conversation and activities
- Assist with meals, hydration, and basic household tasks as needed
- Observe, monitor, and report changes in residents’ condition or behavior
- Document care accurately according to community standards and EMR requirements
- Communicate professionally with residents, families, and team members
- Follow all safety, infection control, and sanitation procedures
- Support resident dignity, comfort, and independence
- Perform other duties as assigned to support resident well-being
Who We’re Looking For
- Prior caregiving experience preferred (assisted living, memory care, home health, or similar)
- Certification is not required for Caregiver roles
- Active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license in the state of Tennessee – REQUIRED for CNA applicants
- Previous experience in assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or similar setting preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and resident-centered mindset
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively with seniors, including those living with dementia
- Ability to safely lift, assist, and support residents as needed
