Key Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Nursing with clinical operations and staff leadership
- Supervise, coach, and mentor nursing staff
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, audits, and performance oversight
- Promote exceptional resident care and quality outcomes
- Participate in care planning, QAPI initiatives, and regulatory compliance
- Facilitate investigations and timely reporting for resident safety concerns
- Serve as a clinical resource to staff and a liaison to families
- Participate in the on-call rotation as needed
- Support a positive culture centered on teamwork and resident-centered care
- Must be an RN or LVN with an active, unencumbered Texas license
- Current CPR certification
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF/LTC) experience required
- Proven experience in nursing leadership or supervisory roles
- Strong knowledge of nursing standards, clinical practices, and long-term care regulations
- Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills
- Ability to plan, organize, and implement nursing programs
- Strong understanding of abuse/neglect reporting requirements
- Ability to lift 60–70 lbs and stand/walk throughout the s
- Ability to work in an on-call rotation, including nights/weekends/holidays
- Must pass required drug screening, background checks, and health clearances
- Must adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA standards
- Positive, professional interpersonal skills and the ability to work harmoniously with residents, families, and staff
- Commitment to ongoing education and regulatory training
