Health Pros Northwest is seeking assistance from an RN to add support into King County Public Health
We have an immediate need for a Registered Nurse for King County Public Health in Seattle. This nursing position is responsible for providing comprehensive community health nursing services to prevent disease and promote health through the application of critical thinking and the ability to exercise independent judgment: This position will be part of a care team that works directly with and in conjunction with a medical provider managing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through care coordination, health education and disease management and prevention. It will include screening, assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating health interventions for individuals and families. Will provide support and assistance to medical providers and will coordinate direct patient care while facilitating patient flow in the clinic.
Orientation ASAP | 2-3 Month Contract | Monday-Friday | 8:00a-5:00p
Duties to this Position:
- Support daily TB clinic operations and patient flow
- Perform nursing assessments and triage for TB suspects
- Provide TB and medication education to patients
- Assist with patient follow-up, lab tracking, and care coordination
Required Qualifications:
- ·Licensed as a Registered Nurse with the State of Washington
- Two years’ experience in health care.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients and other staff.
Salary : $75
