Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work float part time/per diem within the local correctional facilities in Everett.
This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned nurse interested in picking up per diem shifts.
Position Details:
- Dayshift, 9:30 to 1800 PRN
- Paid Clinical Orientation
Position Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Act as the liaison between nursing team and provider (both on and off site)
- Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the facility
- Must be able to work in a correctional facility environment and treat inmates with respect
- Assist with medication administration (2 times total per day)
- Appropriately monitor & document progression of care
Licensure/Education:
- 3 years (minimum) required as a licensed Registered Nurse
- Locked Unit Psychiatric, Behavioral Health, or Corrections experience highly valued
- Detox & Triage experience preferred
- Current unencumbered Washington Registered Nurse License
- BSN preferred
Employment Qualifications:
- Current BLS Certification
- Ability to obtain current Tuberculosis Test and Drug Screen prior to employment
- Reliable transportation to all scheduled shifts
