Health Plus Management LLC (HPM) provides management services to medical practices specializing in the area of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Interventional Pain, and Orthopedics. HPM manages 50 locations throughout Long Island, NYC including the 5 boroughs, Westchester, CT, and NJ. We provide management services that give the physician and therapists the opportunity to provide patient care without always worrying about the administrative needs of the practice. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
- Coordination of care
- Works alongside physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients experiencing acute to chronic pain.
- Provide continuity of patient care
- Physical exam
- Take social/medical histories
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
- Assist practice physician when needed
- Education: Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Licensure: Current Physician Assistant license in the state of practice.
- Certification: Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Duties require extensive standing and walking.
- Requires lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring patients.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- This position will require travel between offices in Nassau County.
- Full-Time and/or part-time opportunities available
- 2 week days per week to start (part-time)
Salary : $65 - $80
