Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Family Nurse Practitioner at our Olathe, KS location. The Nurse Practitioner will provide patient-centered care, including conducting medical assessments, diagnosing illnesses, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications. The role also involves patient education, coordination with other healthcare providers, and supporting preventive care efforts to improve overall patient health and well-being.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and prescribing medications
- Strong skills in patient education, counseling, and promoting preventive health care
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including medical, dental, and behavioral health practitioners
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, community health care setting
- Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Kansas and board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) required
