Nutrition professional: Provide nutrition assessment, education and counseling for clients enrolled in the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). Work closely with team members to create an efficient system and quality program while maintaining WIC caseload. Assist in the development and implementation of agency goals, objectives, and strategies to improve health outcomes of clients enrolled in the WIC Program. *Nutrition assessment and counseling.
*Document results of client screening, counseling and care plan.
*Conduct biochemical and physiological tests and measurements.
*WIC food benefit issuance
*Achieve rapport and confidence with clients to motivate cooperation and compliance with recommended nutritional practices.
