The Vice-President, Key Accounts is a critically important role as Health Monitor expands the Key Account Team as part of the overall Industry Sales Function. This role will be responsible for the organic growth of large, Top 25 Pharma clients who present significant revenue opportunities for Health Monitor and increased value-additive capabilities for the client. VP, Key Account Leader will be firmly positioned as a counselor to senior level business partners on the client side, possess a high level of business acumen and proven track record of developing robust and meaningful relationships with VP and above level counterparts within media agencies and directly with Pharma Brand Teams. VP, Key Accounts will report directly to the EVP of Key Accounts and will be actively involved in helping to conceptualize and build the comprehensive go to market strategy for this critical business unit.
Essential Job Functions
- Demonstrates a quantifiable bias towards growing key accounts upwards of $1M per year, preferably $3M to $5M per year.
- Creates a passionate value-proposition to HM’s largest clients or those with the greatest revenue potential.
- Is an expert on the pharmaceutical industry branding/marketing needs and can anticipate the creation of opportunities within both large pharma clients and media agencies.
- Stay up to date on cutting-edge print and digital offerings within the POC channel.
- Work with stakeholders in a consultative manner to understand business objectives, brand challenges & opportunities, with the ultimate goal of providing comprehensive solutions that help meet both short and long term goals.
- Translate client requests and strategic goals into HM business opportunities that challenge us to expand our capabilities in a meaningful way in order to meet our clients needs. Proactively identify and communicate project risks and propose solutions
- Manages multiple projects simultaneously, tracking and providing consistent and concise progress reports to stakeholders and leadership
- Manages up to EVP and “sees around corners” / anticipates client needs proactively.
- Leadership visibility to the SLT and Gridiron Capital through participation in Quarterly Business Reviews and select senior leadership meetings.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of overall B2B sales experience, with a combination of pharma/brand management and media agency experience.
- “Hunter” mentality focused on identifying and uncovering opportunities to sell
- Self-starter, highly motivated and a resourceful problem identifier and solver
- An entrepreneurial drive to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies across various brand teams and business units within in their Key Account(s)
- Proven ability to cultivate and leverage strategic pharmaceutical client relationships with key organizational stakeholders to uncover opportunities and drive sustained revenue growth
- Exhibits a growth oriented mindset, with the belief that abilities, intelligence and skills can be developed through learning and persistence.
- Leadership skills to guide, develop and manage cross functional teams working on multiple projects
- Energetic and enthusiastic, with the drive and determination for continuous improvement at every level.
- A stable employment history with a quantifiable track record of success and accomplishment defined as annual organic and new business growth of at least $1M per year.
- Self-starter with the ability to appropriately prioritize and plan complex work in a rapidly changing environment.
- Creative, articulate, and can relate to people at all levels of an organization
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with a strong focus on execution and outcomes, consistently prioritizing impactful work over unnecessary busyness.
- Strong client executive presence with a demonstrated ability to appeal to a diverse group of client partners.
- Engaging presentation skills and a track record of successfully selling and executing the alignment of media sales to a Pharma brand’s overall marketing plan.

Salary : $175,000 - $225,000
