Role: Travel Respiratory Therapist responsible for delivering advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary and critical conditions.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans, assess and treat patients, perform diagnostic tests, operate and monitor respiratory equipment, record patient progress, educate patients and families, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum one year of recent RRT experience, NBRC credential, valid state license, current BLS certification, and strong critical thinking, communication, technical, and interpersonal skills. Physical ability to move equipment and work effectively in various environments is essential.
Preferred Certifications: ACLS or PALS, and other relevant licenses or certifications as required.
Key Attributes: Ability to work under pressure, maintain professionalism, and communicate effectively. Must possess visual acuity, motor skills, and mental resilience to handle diverse patient needs and team interactions.
