Role: Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (PCU RN) for a travel assignment.
Responsibilities: Monitor and assess patients requiring close observation, utilizing equipment to detect vital sign changes, and intervene in emergency situations. Care for patients with complex medications and provide specialized monitoring in various settings such as cardiac, neuro, surgical, and ER holding.
Qualifications: Active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS & ACLS certifications, and at least 18 months of recent experience in an acute care PCU/Step-down setting.
Skills & Duties: Critical monitoring of cardiac and vital signs, timely detection of changes, and management of complex medication regimens. Ability to utilize computer monitoring tools for patient assessment.
