Role: The Travel Cath Lab RN provides specialized cardiac care during catheterization procedures, assisting physicians, monitoring patient vital signs, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities: Conduct pre-procedure assessments, assist with patient positioning, operate hemodynamic equipment, support post-procedure recovery, troubleshoot lab equipment, and communicate effectively with team members, patients, and families.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires at least one year of recent Cath Lab RN experience, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred certifications include PALS, ENPC, or RCIS. Must demonstrate critical thinking, strong communication, physical stamina, technical proficiency, and the ability to work under pressure.
Key Duties: Assist during interventions such as catheter placement, manage hemodynamic monitoring, support equipment maintenance, ensure safety standards, and perform assigned tasks within scope of practice.
