Patient Registration Representative

The role involves guiding patients through the registration process, creating a welcoming environment to reduce anxiety, and collaborating with various departments to ensure high patient satisfaction and quality of care. The representative acts as a liaison between patients, families, staff, and management to enhance the patient experience.

Responsibilities Include

• Assisting patients with registration and related administrative tasks.
• Supporting communication between patients and hospital staff.
• Ensuring accurate data collection and documentation.
• Providing excellent customer service to improve patient satisfaction.
• Maintaining knowledge of medical insurance and terminology.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of one year experience in healthcare or customer service.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Flexibility for weekend, holiday, and shift work.
• Preferred skills: patient interviewing, cash handling, clerical accuracy, and typing speed.
• Background screening required for care providers.
