Role Overview: Provides direct nursing care following established policies and protocols, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and serving as a primary coordinator among healthcare disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.

- Conducts comprehensive assessments, including physiological, psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
- Identifies patient problems through clinical judgment and collaborates with the team to set achievable goals.
- Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans, ensuring continuity and safety of care.
- Administers medications, treatments, and provides patient/family education.
- Continuously evaluates patient responses and modifies care plans as needed, ensuring effective care delivery.
- Coordinates care activities, delegates tasks, supervises staff, and prioritizes patient needs.
- Assesses discharge planning needs and facilitates smooth transitions.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a valid Arizona or compact state nursing license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
