Seeking a Neurosurgery physician for a locum tenens role involving inpatient and outpatient care in a Level 3 Trauma Facility.
Responsibilities include: managing complex spine surgeries with instrumentation, general neurosurgery, trauma cases, ICP monitor placement, tumor treatment, VP shunt procedures, and external traction application, with an average of 5 patient encounters per shift.
Key duties: providing clinic and call coverage on weekdays and weekends, performing surgeries, and ensuring patient care continuity.
Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years, FLURO certification (temporary accepted), active state license, and DEA. Experience in complex spine and trauma cases required.
Additional requirements: submission of recent case logs, 2 years of current hospital activity in neurosurgery, and fellowship training. Credentialing may take approximately 90 days.
