Key Responsibilities Include
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations for IDEA eligibility using standardized tools and preparing accessible reports.
- Developing and delivering individualized OT goals and evidence-based therapy sessions, including sensory diets and environmental modifications.
- Providing consultative support to educators and families, training on sensory strategies, and recommending adaptive equipment.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, evaluating assistive technology, and participating in IEP meetings.
- Maintaining accurate documentation supported by AI tools and contributing to student-centered educational planning.
- Master's or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.
- Active NBCOT certification and state licensure in good standing.
- Knowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, and school-based OT frameworks.
