Occupational Therapist - W2 or Option

We are seeking a school-based Occupational Therapist to provide services to K-12 students with disabilities, focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations for IDEA eligibility using standardized tools and preparing accessible reports.
• Developing and delivering individualized OT goals and evidence-based therapy sessions, including sensory diets and environmental modifications.
• Providing consultative support to educators and families, training on sensory strategies, and recommending adaptive equipment.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, evaluating assistive technology, and participating in IEP meetings.
• Maintaining accurate documentation supported by AI tools and contributing to student-centered educational planning.
  
  

Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.
• Active NBCOT certification and state licensure in good standing.
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, and school-based OT frameworks.
  
  

Preferred skills: experience with sensory integration, assistive technology, and serving students with developmental disabilities.
