Role Overview: The Interventional Radiology Technologist supports complex cardiac and vascular procedures in a high-paced Cath Lab environment, functioning in roles such as circulating, monitoring, and scrubbing.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with cardiovascular diagnostics and treatments, prepare patients, operate and maintain imaging and procedural equipment, and ensure accurate documentation and image processing. Collaborate with the healthcare team, monitor patient vital signs, recognize abnormal rhythms, and support safety protocols. Transport patients, answer inquiries, order supplies, and participate in meetings and training to maintain certification and skills.
Qualifications & Skills: Certified in BLS, ACLS, and Radiologic Technology (ARRT). Preferred experience includes radiology, interventional radiology, or cath lab environments, with knowledge of ECG rhythms and structural heart procedures. Strong teamwork, safety awareness, and adaptability are essential.
