They also focus on health promotion, patient education, and follow-up instructions. Qualifications
Education required: Master’s degree in Nursing (NP) or graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program, along with certification.
License, certification, and/or registration: Current registration with the Alabama Board of Nursing and Board of Medical Examiners or an active Alabama PA license, credentialed by the hospital, with BLS certification required by the end of orientation.
Additional skills/abilities: Excellent communication skills, ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, teamwork, and preferred experience with electronic medical records.
