Responsibilities include identifying disease presence or absence, assisting with invasive procedures such as Transesophageal echocardiography and echo-guided biopsies, and modifying procedures for specific clinical needs.
The role requires compliance with the American Society of Echocardiography standards and departmental policies.
Coverage includes shared standby and emergency call-back duties, with potential regional and weekend shifts.
Qualifications: valid Oregon Sonographer or National Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentials, and BLS certification.
Preferred: an associate's degree in a relevant field, extensive experience (minimum 800 exams), pediatric echo experience, and familiarity with advanced heart failure support devices and trans-catheter procedures.
